Conference on "Toxic substances in environment" - Kraków 7-8
September 2004, kindly informs that the contribution of Author(s) has
been included in the conference programme. Papers will be presented as
short communications (15 minute oral presentations, including discussion)
or posters. Form of paper presentation is given in attachment.
We remind main subjects of conference:
- sources and transformations of toxic substances in environment,
- effect of toxic substances on plant, animal and human organisms,
- methods of harmful substances immobilization and neutralisation in
environment,
- bioremediation as a method of cleannig of ground contaminated with
chemical substances,
- ecological factors of agricultural utilisation of waste substances.
Full papers will be published in English in Chemia i Inżynieria Ekologiczna
- Ecol. Chem. Eng. (professional journal of ecological sciences) after
presentation at the conference and following their positive reviews. Please,
prepare your papers for publication according to the attached instructions
and mail two typescripts with a disk (3.5") or CD to the address
given below no later than 15 May 2004:

Registration fee - 800.00 PLN (250 EU) - includes: organisational costs,
costs of accommodation and printing of one submitted paper (6 pages including
English summary and list of references). Longer papers or second paper
of Author(s) may be printed at additional costs 50 PLN (15 EU) per one
page.

Confirmation of payment should be mailed to the organiser together with
the submitted paper. It is a condition of paper printing.
Conference will take place in Krakow in Didactic Facilities of Agricultural
University of Krakow. The conference will start on 7th September at 10:00
and end on 8th September in the afternoon. Please send us confirmation
of hotel reservation before 15 May 2004 r. (reservation form is attached).
Detailed programme of the Conference will be included in the third Circular,
which will be mailed to all participants by the end of July 2004.

Preparation of Manuscript
1. Text of the contribution should be submitted to the Editor in digital
form, either on a floppy - disk or by e-mail. One hard copy considered
as the original of the work must accompany each submission.
2. Graphics (drawings, plots) should be supplied besides the drawing or
tracing paper versions also in digital form. These are required to be
first of all vector - type graphs (prepared under the following programs:
Coreldraw version 3.0 - 7.0 or Grapher for DOS or Windows or in bitmap
format at least (TIF, PCX, BMP). We shall not accept graphs scanned only
which need further retouch. Should there be any difficulties, the Editor
guarantees to prepare the graphic material against a fee, according to
the submitted outlines. For further information please address the Editor's

3. The manuscript may be prepared in any text editor, however the following
ones to be preferred: WORD for Windows (ver. 2.0, 6.0 and 7.0), WRITE
for Windows, QRTEXT for Windows, WORD PERFECT for DOS (ver. 4.0 - 5.1),
WORD PERFECT 6.0 for Windows. Once the original text has been converted
into any format like these, please submit also the original file along
with the converted one.
4. Only double - density 3,5" floppy - disks shall be accepted.
